Leon Floor Mat Fixings

Hi,

Has anyone managed to swap over their floor mat fixings from oval to round?

If so how did you manage to do this? I can only imagine its pulling up the carpet?

You have to go under the carpet, I have done that when replacing my seats

You could always just buy some mats from ebay which have the oval fixing clips?

i bought some new mats for my cupra from seat which had the opposite fixings to what was on the car. (cant remember which way round it was now) but managed to remove the fixings form the old floor mats and fit them to the new mats.

the clips are a bit of a struggle to get off so be careful where your sticking the screw driver lol

Ah thats pretty cool then if you can just swap them over.

I now need to find some plain mats with the right fixings to buy and then i can get some smart 'Leon' ones and make the change.
