leon fr 2.0 tsi flat spot

Hi guys

Looking for some advice recently purchased a leon fr with the 2.0 tsi engine and I've noticed that once the car is warm it has a flat spot in all gears at roughly 5k rpm. For a split second it feels like the turbo drops boost and goes again all the way to the red line.I've read that some remaps might cause this. I Don't know if the car has been mapped or not just a bit worried there may be something else wrong. Car drives perfect apart from this.

I would say you need to know what you are dealing with before you can start trying to sort it.
If you dont even know whether there is a map involved, it probably sounds best to contact a reputable mapper in your area and take it from there.
No point getting your hands dirty investigating mechanical stuff if it might just be a sht map which can be sorted.

Could be worth scanning for errors if you have the gear to hand, but i would establish whether mods are causing issues first.

Thanks for the quick reply. I have vagcom don't see any errors might try log the boost requested against actual have a feeling boost is too high so it dumps it. Will take ur advice and see someone local about checking if it's a map.

So further update Looked at the diverter valve and noticed oil leaking around the seal replaced the valve even tho the current one wasn't torn. Stutter went away for about a week the bb returned at 5k rpm took the engine cover off noticed oil all over the top of the engine took it back to the dealer and they replaced the Pcv valve. Some power came back but still have the flat spot at 5K rpm. The dealer had now taken the car to seat who say no fault found and did a cold Road test even tho I told them it doesn't start to stutter until it's fully up to temp.

Getting desperate now love the car but this stutter seriously effects the performance anyone else had any issues like this?
