leon mk ignition barrel

hi guys ok so my igniction barrel has failed key wont turn the lock i felt something snap inside ok i have a replacement barrel and key blade
i know i have to remove the snap bolts the new barrel comes with the black plastic antenna coil can i use this or do i have to use the one off the oridgenal barrel as im not sure if there coded

Not 100% sure, but never known one to be coded. In all the cases i've seen they are basically just coils of wire.
