Leon radio woes

Hi there,

Changed the head unit out in a leon to replace it with something with an aux in, used the new unit and its respective ISo harness and had no power , tried 3 other radios with harnesses and still no dice . Eventually went back to the original and now that wont work! Checked two of he head units in other cars and they're fine, also checked fuses on back of radio and. Car fuse on right of dashboard ( no 42 ) ?

Is there another fuse that needs checking ?

Am I best off trying to run power off the cigarette lighter if alls else fails?

Ill check output okay he both switched and lie and earth continuity whennibget down there with a multimeter any help would be appreciated

That's weird! Usually a fuse!
Disconnect battery for twenty mins and try again! Cures a lot of issues...

Advise not running off the 12V cigarette lighter - it should be individually fused, and the cig plug is always live in the Leon.

Does anyone know the numbers of the two radio fuses? Are they 14 and 52?

Didn't quite understand the last couple of lines of your post mate, but you realise that on the leon the switched and constant live are reversed compared to 99% of cars out there? Not sure if this is part of your issue or not but just thought i'd mention it just incase.
