Location of secondary waterpump!

Hi guys,

Stupid question here im afraid, but I've searched and can't find the answer I'm looking for.

My secondary/ auxiliary water pump is playing up, sometimes working and sometimes not.
I've found the guide on here showing how to clean up the connectors etc and most people have had success after doing it....
However I can't find where the water pump is! I can hear it but can't see exactly where it is! I've had the plastic cover off the engine and look all over but till don't really know what it looks like!
Any help in location of the secondary waterpump would be most appreciated! Then I can try to fix it!

Isn't that the air injection pump (SAI)? AFAIK our 1.8T don't have secondary waterpumps.

Afterrun pump/secondary/auxiliary coolant pump is a small black cylinder about the size of a mini coke can bolted onto the back of the radiator/fans assembly just under the slam panel as indicated in Lee's diagram. Replacements are something in the order of £80.
