hey guys i recently hit a squirrel which as made a hole in my lower front grill under the number plate.. can anyone advise me on how to take it out???
ive got the replacement just ready to swap... i gave it tug  but it seems abit more solid than the easily removable outer grills with the spot lights in...

any advise appreciated cheers

they ar not "push fit" they are melted in to the bumper.
you need to take the bumper from the car.

You need to place it in to the bumper from the inside. And glue it in or something.

On a 180 cupra it is more easy because that is push fit.

my bad, on my LCR due to go on the grill went on easily but i didnt realise that it was one of them melted plastic tab jobbies. no wonder it was a pita to get it to sit in place. soldering iron to melt the tabs then or plastic weld.

cheers for the info guys... gutted the last thing i wanted to do was take the bumper off... any1 kno if thats a ramp job or a DIY job?? cheers

you should be able to do it if you get the car on a ramp but will probably need to take engine cover off for better access. its not too dificult taking the bumper off, just time consuming.

Screwed my one on :) haha i beat that little b4st4rd good! It was detimed not to go on with silicone or anything, then out came the drill muwoohahaha!

Its another one of those huge designs floor by Seat / VW just like the stupid one time use system clips to hold in interior panels.
