Right, so Tuesday i had a cat back exhaust fitted by the local exhaust fabricator. Its a non resonated one so it sounds great ( video in the next few days)

imo it sits just below the bumper line. Not stupid low but not as high as the standard.

The standard one has more of a letter box fitting but the new one is more oval so just sits lower naturally.

Question is, does any body else's exhaust sit a bit lower and does it cause a problem going over speed bumps?

looking underneath the car its not the lowest point. other things are ( not sure what there called though).

or has anyone had other problems when lowering. what catches speed bumps for you.

found it

Just take your time and you'll be fine.

Only really becomes an issue for me when the car is full, sccccccccrrrrrraape!

Edit: Not the exhaust though, that doesn't catch for me.

The only bit that catches on mine is the 2 plastic undertrays. They drop down near the rear to a point & they sometimes catch

The ONLY thing i've ever had catch/scrape on mine is the front muflaps i have fitted, but that's not on speedhumps but big-ass holes in the gravel surface i was driving down going to a fishery!

Never had any issues with speedhumps at all!

I agree, front mudflaps are problematic when passing big holes.
