Hy,
2009 Ibiza Cupra
CAVE 180hp engine
I replaced the water pump and now I cannot do "IDE03452 - Magnetic clutch adaptation".
The option is there, but it instantly gets "Aborted for safety reasons"
I went to my ex job where we tryed to do it with genuine VCDS, we entered security code.
All modules are free of error codes, clutch / supercharger works.
We tryed what web was suggesting:
-all doors closed,
-battery on charger,
-e brake activated,
-gearbox temp above 65 (was 90)
-with engine running and with engine off / ignition on
-car level
We also tryed with ODIS, but option was not there. This leads me to thinking that this car might just not need the adaptation done.
With my ex coworker be both agreed that it is strange that clutch with only 2pin connector would need adaptation, it's either on or off, it doesn't know it's precise position.
Is it true that adaptation must be done on all cars or is it possible that it can't be done on mine?
Did anyone had this problem and got it fixed?
I have another question that might not be important or it might cause the very problem... does coolant reservoir have connector on 2009 Cupra? Mine has connector on it, but there is no connector on the wiring loom. Is this float or temperature sensor in the reservoir?
Thank you for help
