Need some advice guys - I think "whats it worth" threads are Ok here, apologies if not.

I am looking at buying a new car, I've had the leon for almost 4 years now and have been eyeing up some Audis.

Mine is a 53 reg Leon Cupra Tdi in platinum grey.
Current mileage - 149k
Recent Hybrid/Stage 2/Clutch/Flywheel And -40mm Cup suspension fitted
Custom boost pipework
Has winter and summer tyres
Full stereo install with custom boot enclosure, becker headunits and amps.
Service history - serviced by my mechanic since I purchased it at 49K.
MOT and Tax until December,

Average bodywork, stone chips as expected with a motorway mile muncher.

312mm brake upgrade
rear wiper, the usual bits and bobs

Runs as smooth as the day I bought it.

Any ideas what I should be asking for this? I am waiting on a part x figure from the audi dealership, but I am expecting something silly, so Private sale may be the only way

Let me know guys and girls

Scotty

Just bought an 04 cupra tdi, lower miles but stock without the upgrades on yours for £3500. As said prices on the tdi cupra is holding up better than petrol ones.

I bought my 53 reg TDI, with 95K on the clock, completely standard for £3700 4 months ago. I would have though £3.5k or more with the list of mods you have.

I paid £3,275 for a '53 plate Cupra TDI with ~112,000 on the clock. Interior was in good condition but exterior has got a few car parks dings and scratches etc though. It also had no record of the cambelt being done, so that knocked some money off.

Don't know how you guys got such good prices, there are hardly ANY Cupra's round by me for anything close to sensible money!

Prices for these seem to vary wildly. Some dealers are asking silly money for low mileage examples: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2004-SEAT...1309413?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3cc1e8fc65

but looking around on the other hand there are some tatty ones that can be had very cheap. eBay is a good place to look but really you need an account to check for "completed listings" to see what is actually selling, because some cars are just being relisted week after week and clearly not selling at the price asking.

TDI cupra is always gonna be popular, its sporty and cheap to run. The issue is mods will devalue the car for a lot of people and the mileage is at the high end of what many would consider reasonable.

£1500 px is insulting, should get at least 2.5k private even as a desperate seller. I would be advertising it around 3500 and see what offers / interest I get, but I would not be surprised to have to drop the price either.

You can always check webuyanycar to get a rough idea.

If your after a quick hassle free sale id offer £2500, its easily worth 3k but its finding the right buyer with the mods so may take longer than selling a standard one actually.

What power is it actually running?

Do you need it gone before Saturday? Keep hold of it and sell it privately, it will go.

Do what I did with the OH's last car... Pay for 2 weeks advertising and get no interest, wait a couple of weeks, pay for 6 weeks and then get so much interest you could sell it 6 times by he end of the week!
