mk2/3 axle

just a quicky chaps, can a mk3 rear axle bolt straight on to a mk2. i think it can but want to make sure? cheers.

somebody must know if a mk3 axle will fit on to a mk2??????

pretty sure it can do, but the stubs aren't the same
