Mk3 Ibiza from "overseas"

Hello everyone,

I am from Portugal, and I own an Mk3 Ibiza, with 1.6 engine originally. I am currently studying Automotive Engineering

Recently I swapped to 1.8T with all the Cupra OEM parts, since I had one original Cupra, with foreign license plates.
It's running on LPG since the gas is an absolute robbery over here, and I use it as a daily car, plus I am studying far from home.

I decided to join this forum so that I could learn from you guys, beeing that many of you have mk3 Cupras. They are pretty rare where I'm from, so not many people have any useful info on them unfortunatelly

Already read a lot of stuff around here, but watch out, there will be questions to come

Welcome to the site. Its definitely the place to be for answers to engine/car-related stuff, You still on the suspension from the 1.6 days, or got uprated cupra bits? The springs are harder for the cupra to cope with the heavier block + blower and associated stuff.

Oj: Currently I have the complete Cupra suspension, the problem is that the shock absorbers are in very bad shape... So until I have some more income I guess I'll switch back to the 1.6, for now
