Well, after loads of thinking, my FN2 Type R had to go and I've made the switch from Civinfo to here. Although the Type R was an exceptionally fun car to drive with the mods I did to it (running 224bhp) paying a mortgage off and running it was too expensive for my liking.
Here I am with a 59 plate 1.4TSi FR Ibiza in Galia Blue. After a very pleasant experience at my local seat (Horton's of Lincoln), I managed to get a straight swap for my Civic.
To my surprise, it feels quicker than my Type R did, which I think is probably down to the supercharger and turbo. However, a work colleague's friend is willing to do mates rates on a remap and claims he can get close to Revo's claimed figures of 215bhp, but for £150, so that is something I'm considering quite heavily.
I'm thoroughly enjoying the DSG experience after never having owned an automatic, although I find myself pushing the stick to the right in Drive and using the paddles a lot.
When I have posted enough times, I will stick up some pictures.
