Got myself a 2008 Altea XL with a few silly issues, love the car, didn't have a lot to spend but needed a car quickly so took a chance, seller was a liar but heh that's life. My first Seat since a Toledo in the 90s!

Welcome, we had one for a good few years, served us well. Watch out for the central locking issue where one door just decides to refuse to unlock.

yes i've read up quite a bit but seem to have sorted it by a complete fluke, just need to get somebody with vcds to turn the annoying chime off, gonna stick with the car tho, like it!
