Hi new member from Leicester ive converted to seat from volkswagon I had a vw polo g40 for the past 20 years but I had to let her go and I heard the leon fr was a good solid reliable car.
Hoping to get to some shows and meets (if people still attend them nowadays).
I managed to find myself a very solid clean leon fr550 im just in the process of putting my stamp on her.
Hoping to do a few engine tweeks and improvements.
If anyone knows of any upcoming shows or events please let me know.

Hi Matt what an astonishing engine the 2 Litre VAG Tdi fitted to the FR550 is, speaking from experience with mine the best engine performance upgrade on a budget is a £299 stage 1 re-map lifts power to 205bhp and 420nm of torque if you think its rapid through the gears now wait until you get this done

Mate I've had so much trouble with it.
The previous owner but I really bad map on resulting in the tubo not boosting.
So I put an original standard seat map on and hand on heart it's ridiculous.
I took it to a friends garage and he said

Mate I had a few issues when I first had the car.
The previous owner put a really bad remap on it so I had a standard seat map put on replaced a few parts he'd not serviced and bodged and the car is now an absolute animal.
The dpf has been mapped out properly and I took it to a friends garage and he said its one of the most responsive diesels he's ever driven.
Now a seat specialist reckons mines got the pd engine in it but people say its the common rail version.
Certain sites say it is infact the pd engine which is why its so quick I've had some good cars and my 550 would give them a serious run.
What ever is under that bonnet its seriously tunable and has some serious power already im so impressed with it
