New member seat ibiza display help weird symbol

Hi all just bought a seat ibiza mk4 2009 petrol. I have had something odd come up (pic attached)
Where the temp is normally displayed i have got eg
9 Miles ¹

It isnt the trip counter, but it is counting up miles, resetting to 0 after a few hours of engine being off..

Can anyone tell me what the car is trying to tell me. I rang Seat and loo

ked in the manual but still got me puzzled.

Please take a minute to look and comment thank you - its the 0 Miles ¹

You say its not a trip, but is there not two trips (1) and (2) where trip one resets over night, but you need to find how to get to (2) and you might find that is the main trip
On our Leon we have a similar idea, although you can see the two trips ie the main and a daily trip

Thank you i will have a look. Am I right in thinking that there are some buttons for display on the end of the one of the stalks such as the indicator or wiper stalk

Its was just a display setting on the wiper stalk .. all sorted
