Hi
I've owned a Leon 5F for about 4 months now and it's great except for one thing: it's giving me a ton of issues.
I live in Switzerland and Leons and similar MQB models are very common here. The 1.4 TSI is great on fuel and works great after 145000km. I've already driven it 10000km since i bought it.
I come from owning a first gen Dacia Sandero 1.6, which not only was underpowered and terrible on fuel, but it had nothing. No automatic AC, no parking sensors, no bluetooth - nothing. Switching to this was a breeze of fresh air, until the issues started.
The original MIB1 decided to die within the first week, which ultimately lead to me getting a MIB2 retrofit. It started rusting on the door, which I got fixed. Since owning the car I've had a Start-Stop error and noticed it only comes on when it's low on fuel. I'll get into the details of it in the right thread though.
Also, 1 week after getting an oil change, the AC broke.
I have to say that I'm slightly disappointed. I hope issues will stop after this.
I've decided to register to this forum so I can talk about these issues and maybe find out what causes it.
Cheers
