New Owner - 2004 LEON 130 TDI SE

Hi there guys and girls.

I'm Clive from Peterborough and I just bought my first Seat - a 2004 Seat Leon TDI (130bhp).

Have had a few VAG cars before: Lupo GTI, Skoda Fabia, Audi A2, VW Golf and Bora and have had the 100bhp version of the 1.9 PD TDI engine and was looking for the same again or the 130bhp version which I ended up with

Got a 2002 Volvo 1.8 SE with 'Sports Lux' facelift to sell on if anyone is interested lol.

Looking forward to learning some stuff on here and maybe giving something back!
Already I have been reading up on the door leak fix threads as that is a job I need to do.

Just thought I would update my thread to say I used the guide on here to replace the door carrier seals with butyl strip - did both front doors and one rear door before I ran out of time.

I'm borrowing a rug doctor to help suck the water out of the o/s/r footwell which seems to be the only one which got wet (fingers crossed). Looking forward to getting the interior dry as the condensation was a real pain!

Thankfully the seals were the original ones so were easy enough to remove and get clean for the new seal to be applied.

Other work so far has been to clay the car and use 'scratch x' to remove some marks and scratches from the bodywork - really pleased with the improvement this gave - lovely layer of wax on the car now too is giving some serious beading

And I bought some new centre caps as my car was missing two
