Hi everyone,
I used to be on the forum back in 08 when i owned my yellow 2008 leon cupra mk2 full BTCC kit. was sadly a insurance write off in a crash in 2012, although it is back on the road somewhere.. still have the spare key if anyones missing one.

So upgraded at the time to the mk2 cupra R 265, car has been off the road for the last 12 years until january 2023, 2010 plate, only 35K on the clock so just getting back to the joys of driving it.

The threads seem to be the same helpfull fountain of knowledge as before, keep up the good work troops!!

Previous owner had traded it in for something more family friendly as he was buying a pram, 6 months after I got it the clutch started slipping in 5/6th on boost, so clutch and flywheel added to the job list on top of; full service, disks & pads and 4 tyres. But on top of that bought a house so wasn’t in a position to put it back on the road for a while… just had all of the above sorted and a timing belt and water pump since it was sitting For so long, fear of belt perishing since it was sitting in the same position for so long
