I agree. It doesn't tell you anything about the car whatsoever. Just a bit of fancy flash animation. Pointless.
It kinda reminds me of adverts these days too. You'll have a guy playing snooker and a woman juggling and talking french for 2 minutes and at the end, in the bottom right hand corner you'll see logo for a new paint colour or something. WTF?!
