Hi all,

Purchased a new to me 2002 110 ASV Leon Se with 110k with FSH (after reading around a few forums sometimes that doesn’t really mean much). Had it a few months now and so far the car runs great. Fitted a boost gauge and finally got round to getting cambelt booked in at AMD this week. Which will be a good chance to get to know the guys there.

Just have a few questions really. After browsing the forum for a good while I still cannot decide what exhaust to go for when I have the funds. Decat is defiantly on the cards however I don't really want it to sound too loud. What are peoples opinions on systems i.e. decat + backbox or decat + resonator no backbox or all three?

I used to own a Starlet 1.3 N/A which I managed to squeeze around 110hp (80 whp) from its 75hp engine so you can see its a whole different ball game to what I'm used to. I went through about 5 different exhausts trying to find a nice tone so don't really want to do that again.

I have also picked up a 1.8t pancake pipe and need a bit of fitting advise. I noticed someone fitted it to their standard turbo pipe work, I think it was Brad, with a reducer. I was wondering if someone new what size reducer is needed. I can see its 51mm for the pancake side just need to find out the turbo side.

I also have JOM shocks and springs waiting to go on, just need some time to fit.

Cheers guys

P.S. forum looks great [B)]

I've gone for the whole straight through system option. When driving normally, it is slightly louder, but not that much, but when I accelerate hard, it does get loud. When it hits 3k+ it sounds very throaty and nothing like a diesel at all.

Plus it gives it that "whoosh" sound when it lifts off. :)
