Hi all, I'm Matt and 27. I'm in the process of buying a mk5 ibiza cupra or boc, have not fully decided on exactly i want and how much to spend yet but what ever it is i hope to get a lovely example. I don't plan to change too much of it, more of tweak it for the better i hope. Mainly joined to try and get some advice on buying and any other problems that i find.

Matt

Welcome Matt! I'm new to this forum too. Where in TOWIE country are you from? I'm from Chelmsford, although I live in Northamptonshire now.

Brentwood so heard all the jokes, been living there for almost two years now, use to live near lakeside so deffently a big step up and nice place.

On some car shaped news, i have put a deposit down for a 2011 emmotion red cupra from Braintree dealership. Don't think i got too bad a deal considering there are not too many about/quiet a spesilised car.

The reds not my first choice (white or decoater red would have been) but had to compermise to get a good low mileage example but the other colour options about (black and grey) hid the black bumper mouth and side creases to much for my likeing, makes it look like any other car.

One of the main reasons why I went for the cupra over clio cups or corsa vxr was running cost as I do lots of miles for getting to work and it seams the 7 speed box is good for that. As I said it won't be a project car as such as my real hobby is mountain biking (spend too much on that already) :S regular trips away to Wales for riding (with some lovely roads on the way and I don't mean the m4 either)

Yay, finally picked it up tonight after being mucked around alittle, was meant to have picked it up saturday but turned up to view the car and it had a few more marks/scratches on than i expected (even had a mark on the inside passagener kick plate area). Was not a happy bunny as gave up a few extra hours overtime to get the car and it was not perfect as promised, anyway got them to sorted them out and it looks lovely.

Drive home was fun if very carefull. Next intreasting thing was parking, at the flat i live at the only place i can park is in a garage. Although i had checked sizes of what other people have cars they can fit and knew it would fit its deffently a bit harder to park without a clutch. Does make a cool picture though lol

Anyway will ad pics once i've done quota of posts
