Hi Guys,

Joined the forum hopefully for a bit of advice.

I've had my (Mk3?) 2014 Leon FR 184 since May and done 11,500 miles on it. In that time I had an electrical issue which caused it to flash up with a number of errors such as gearbox fault, stop start, traction etc. The garage said it was just a faulty wire but it's happened twice again since but after turning off and on it works fine again.

Last night after it not having been driven for a month the DPF light came on. Should I get this looked at or should I try driving the soot out of it on a good drive?

Also could someone recommend me any good Seat specialist garages in South London, I don'd mind travelling for one. The last one I went to kerbed 2 wheels and the first issue wasn't 100% fixed properly.

Thanks,

Adrian

welcome - you seem to have a raft of issues, though.
Sure you'll get some tips about a local dealer - with a 3 year warranty a good ealer should be your first port of call.
DPF issues have been on here before, as well as other VAG forums. Some believe driving with the DPF light on could invalidate any claim under warranty as it's actually telling you there's a problem, and taking a longish drive at 3000rpm might cause some damage. Have you rung round dealers to get opinions?

I only did 1 mile in it yesterday when the light came on. Turned it on today and it was gone. Think I'll take it to the dealer and explain all my problems thus far.

First brand new car and I've never had problems with a car before lol
