ideal and recommend NGK

try locally for PFR6Q at other factors/parts stores to see if cheaper considering delivery

fit Bosch and i'll hunt ya down and bugger you with a frozen kipper - just my personal hate for em sorry :)

This is odd, I'm looking for plugs and NGK list this:

Make: SEAT
Model: IBIZA
Year: 00-
Engine Size: 1.8
Engine Type: AQX, AYP
Notes: 20v TURBO
Recommended Plug Gap: Gap is already preset
Part Number: BKUR6ET-10

Not the PFR6Q, is the one above the one to go for if AYP engine code? Presume the PFR6Q is for a different engine code.

Does anyone run the NGK BKUR6ET-10 in their Cupra's? Are they ok? Seat and local motorfactors are pushing the Bosch F7LTCR's which may not be as good?

I run NGK BKR7E iirc.
Ok thanks, i've read about running one heat range colder If running 75-100bhp over standard, so presume that's why you run 7's instead of 6's?I'm not sure why the 6et's are listed for Ayp engine code and the 6pr for bam etc? Think it's to do with plat tips vs non plat tips, as my ayp service book says plugs every 20k and platinums would do 40k...

I'm running these on a standard motor: BKUR6ET-10

Set me back 20 euro's on ebay.de

They work well.

I think I'll be going with these, going round in circles trying to work out the best ones but these are direct match to the Seat recommended Bosch part. Thanks for the replies guys...

Ah well, how long do spark plugs live in a 20VT? And how old is your motor...

Anyhow, NGK stated on their website that the BKUR6ET-10 is the one to go for.

Hi Ruben, it's a 2001 AYP engine Ibiza, NGK site does say use those plugs, strange the Bosch equivalent are not the ones in the car and it seems ok, they are just a bit dirty and not changed for a while. My service book says change every 20k.

Ah, good to know that. 20k miles I suppose ;)

Which reminds me, I want to buy a timingbelt kit. Not that expensive, 90 euro incl. shipment for the Contitech CT909K1 kit.
