Noisey engine

Hi I’m a newbie on here and also new to owning a cupra r mk2 which I love.
Just a quick question are all these engines noisy and if so is there anything I can do to make it quieter?thsnks

Noisy as in sounds like tractors lol mines not quiet...

I'm going for a Terraclean soon to see if that does anything good...

Is it noisy all the time or just idle?

Just when stationry mate I would say it’s like a tractor lol, just abit noisy.
I was just wondering if all these 2.0l tfsi engines are the same as it’s only done 33k.
If you don’t mind me asking what’s a terra clean?

Yeah my Cupra R is also a little noisy on the idle but so was my 2007 FR TFSI.

Terraclean was mentioned to me a while back seems like a nice treat for the car lol

It might all be down to lack of sound deadening in the engine bay who knows...

Mine has 32k on it and is also quite noisy...
