Hello everyone

I have just had a nomad dual A pillar pod fitted to my cupra and i am just wondering how people that have one have fixed them in??

all i was given was one little screw and it sticks out and its really doing my head in lol.

just wonderd if anyone had fixed it in in a better looking way??

cheers any help would be great :D

possibly? if it would hold the weight.

never even thought of that?

just seems abit crap i thought it would have a couple of clips on it like the original part but it has nothing?

just gotta get rid of the silly looking screw lol.

I cut one of the old fixings off the original column and stuck it to the nomad one. I think these pods are the best looking ones you can get but the fixings let it down big time, pretty sh*t IMO.

yeah thats exactally what i thought when i bought it, was abit disapointed with how it gets fixed.

looks great thought.

i will have to give that ago. the screw makes it look like a bodge job....not good lol

I used the o/e foam at the base and then ran thick black velcro up the rubber side(not windscreen side) and a small piece along the roof lining. Never moved in a year.

Hope that helps.

nice one ged296.

ive got the foam at the bottom but al ave to get hold of some velcro.

did you do anything to the hole thats in it for that screw then?

cant you use double sided tape (mirror fixing/number plate fixing stuff), your not going to be taking it off so why dont you try it.

i just stuck in the screw. you wont notice it after a while. would look worse with a hole in it me thinks!!
