Just wondered if anyone else has tried using one with the torque app, I borrowed a mates and it connected for all of 5 mins, and now this morning nothing, won't connect to phone properly and when it does it says can talk with ecu all I wanted to do was check a few things so if anyone has one what brand is it and where did you get it from, as it would appear these cheap efforts from cackbay are no good

Thanks mark

I have the Torque app (full version) working via bluetooth. When I had my Galaxy S3 it connected without issue every time but when I got my Nexus5 I found that I need to manually un-pair the OBD scanner then pair it again before it will connect to Torque correctly. :\

I bought a very cheap 'mini' adaptor from eBay, probably 12 months ago and use it pretty much every day, both in my current car and when i had my previous car (Mk4 Golf Tdi)

Are you sure it is set up and paired correctly? tried the adaptor in another car?

All of a sudden when I went out it started working either the car has to be moving g or I have summat at home interfering

That's what I got but for some reason I have to be driving for it to connect properly and start giving data, once it works it's great

Mine works with iPhone fine enough. Won't read temperature though that's only thing.
