over heating problem

i have a problem with my ibiza cupra it seems to be getting very hot!
when ideling the temperature gauge goes all the way up to 105 degrees and maybe further but i havent let it get that far! it doesent do it when driving only when still!
anyone any ideas what it could be?

Is the radiator fan kicking in?

If not, i think this can be down to the fuses ontop of the battery.
