Yeah mate. I've sprayed mine. I used the plastidip stuff. Comes out really well. As for stone chips I've had 1 minor one. And the grille has been on for 10 months now. Go for it mate get it done :)

Im just gonna have a crack at this myself. Did you just mask it or did you remove the chrome surround section?

I took of the chrome surround and the badge. Done them both. You'll need a lighter to heat the plugs that hold the badge in. But taking them off stops them getting messy. Plus let's you get full coverage of it.

Cool. How did u get the chrome surround off?? There are just soooo many clips! I took my grill off and attempted to remove the chrome surround but broke two clips so thought id leave it alone! Im gonna plastidip the surround but was thinking of just masking it but ideally would like to remove it

In work one of the techs had trim pulling tools. It's quite hard to get off. I managed without breaking them but had three of the tools to keep in place cause if you pop some clips and move to another without leaving the tool there those clips pop straight back in. Bit of a nightmare like.

Yeah reckon I'm gonna try the masking approach and if it doesn't turn out right I'll just have to remove it and try again. The joys of plastidip!

Looks better with the S chrome, all black is a bit too much, unless of course that is the theme of the rest of the car, I.e wheels mirrors etc
