Performance alloys

Hi,

I own a 2018 Seat Ibiza FR in grey and unfortunately didn’t wait for one to be spec’d up so landed with a stock car thinking I could change bits on it.
Seat have said the performance alloys are silly money to buy separately so I’m looking to buy something else, however the standard alloys are 5x100 and the performance alloys are 5x112 from what I’ve seen. How did Seat get these to fit?!? Would I need some sort of spacer or would they go straight on? I wouldn’t imagine Seat would use a spacer?

Advise please - or can anybody with these wheel upgrades tell me what fitment you have in case I’ve been reading duff information?

Thank you

I think your info is bad. Only a few VW group cars are still 5x100 (although both my Ibiza 5 and Toledo 4 are) but to think that SEAT are going to change the bolt spacing between 17 and 18 rims on the same hub is frankly ridiculous.

Note. Not all alloy wheel retail sites databases are correct either.

Alloy wheels.com says 5x100

That’s where I got the info of my current alloy of 5x100 but most listings I’ve seen for the 18” are 5x112 which I don’t know is correct or if quite a few people have got it wrong.

I’m guessing by the 18” on the post above that for the 114 Ibiza they are also 5x100 so I’ll have to keep looking!

The standard alloys are awful!

Seriously?

Agreed, not SEAT's best effort, but it does at least confirm offset and fitting detail
