Pioneer AVIC-F9110BT With factory Bluetooth

Hi,

Anyone know if the new Pioneer AVIC-F9110BT will work with the factory bluetooth kit?

I know it has a handsfree system built in but I would like to keep the existing bluetooth with the phonebook between the gadges.

Anyone got the headunit?

The bluetooth unit is located under the driver seat so seperate from the h/u. you should be able to get it to work but think you need some kind of extra cable to get the audio in.

not sure which ones sorry

You will need to use the auxilary input on the new pioneer unit , it may be rca or mini jack , on my unit which is also pioneer 4100dvd it uses the mini jack port.
you just use the wires from the green plug , use scotchlocks to connect the black and white wires iirc to the new wires going into the mini jack or rca lead.

Ironic that if I didn't have the factory bluetooth, this headunit would have been ideal!

Does the factory bluetooth work properly with the MFD1/MFD2,etc units? or is it only the standard unit that will work.

Thanks again
