Fresh from scoring their first race wins of the season, Jason Plato and Darren Turner are optimistic about their changes at Thruxton, as they wheel out their Leon TDIs at the fastest circuit on the BTCC calendar. The improved straight-line speed of the diesel-engined Leon should suit the Hampshire track, although there is still the 130mph Church Corner and the high-kerbed chicane to negotiate, if the perfect lap is to be achieved.

yep, i watched in delight as the leons left everything for dead at rockingham on the straght, so i dont much could catch them at thruxton.

lets just hope the weight doesnt hamper plato in qualy
