Play in steering and now slight knock

Evening all
Ive done a search and couldnt find anything that relates to mine specifically, so i thought i might test your brains

Basically when moving steering left or right when driving it feels loose and very spongy and you can feel a slight knock, through the steering and also hear it when you wiggle the steering wheel left to right etc quickly. And when i left my foot of the accelerator it pulls slightly, very tiny to the right which i am putting down to tracking. Also get a slight knock every so often. But this is also another problem, when its raining and the car gets wet, all the running gear everything underneath as you would expect, it has the same sympton when lifting off, pulling to the right, but does it much more violent, really noticeable. Im stumped as to what it can be. The cars has polyflex bushes, all of them replaced on the front, need balljoints and trackrod end. Everything seems tight when i check the bolts etc. Anyone got an idea

I know mate, I'm very stumped myself lol, every bolt been checked that I can think off

I'd get it up in the air and have a look underneath, as I'm think something has come out of line/shape . Or its your brakes, if a caliper is binding then it cancause car to pull to 1 side and sometimes cause the knock you feel through steering wheel. Had it on my old car, car would pull to left had a look and the caliper had seized on the disk

Could it be the actual track rods?

Well it got worse, so sunday i decided to check everything, and i mean everything. I jacked the car up and to my amazement wobbled the wheel, and it was loose as feck like a wheel bearing i thought, great!!!. The bolts that held the wheel to the hub were all done up tight, strange i thought. Next i checked the hub nut that goes onto the end of the driveshaft through the hub, and guess what, it was loose as hell. I only done this up tight a month ago when i did the hubs. Done it up and no wheel wobble at all. Steering is much better now . What can cause this to come loose/undo? Only slight problem is that you can still feel the smallest bit of play in the steering, like something has worn slightly, apart from this, the steering is fine. Anybody know what the small play could be??
