Dad is ordering an FR tomorrow and to confirm for definite can someone please tell me what the Convenience Pack is, and also what option gives the Driver display thats bigger with more to dislplay so to speak.

bluetooth for bigger display i believe

make sure you get the 18"s and heated seats too instead of the blanking plates on the dash

I think the convenience pack is the auto wipers, auto lights, dimming rear-mirror.

The larger MFD gives you a configuration menu so you can customise the going out/coming home feature as well as configure other values for things like 12/24hr clock Miles/km etc. It also gives you an overview of the car if someone hasn't shut a door properly or if you are out of washer fluid or cruise control is on.

If you have it with the satnav it gives you pointy arrows to give you the directions and if you have the bluetooth it will show the phone book.

According to the manual it will also give you diagnostic info if there is a problem though how detailed that is I'm not sure.

Bluetooth option is definitely worth the money, it's under £200 from memory. You also get more pieces of information displayed at a time than the standard display.

For example the standard one won't show outside temp and time at the same time only either / or.

The auto lights, wipers & mirror are nice but let's face it you can do all those things yourself without much effort... Tell your Dad to spend the money on heated seats instead, your Mum will thank him for them in the winter

...for some reason women love heated seats, I have no idea why as they just make me feel like I've wet myself !
