Firstly if this is in the wrong place, apologies!
I'm looking at probably part ex-ing my Leon FR shortly but thought I'd test the water on here to see if anyone would want a project?
It's a 2007 2.0 TFSI, coming up to 106k on the clock.
Lowered on JOM coilovers, has Milltek non-res full system and black BBS wheels (not sure if genuine or not).
Relatively good service history; last 2 years I've done them myself.
Bad points though, the front right arch is rusting, there are some ABS faults which I've been told will mean 1 new wheel bearing, ABS sensors both sides and something to do with the handbrake release mechanism which is worn at the back. Also, the passenger front door colour isn't quite right so I think it was resprayed at some point before my ownership.
Good points - in the 30 months of ownership I've changed: whole suspension, exhaust system, 4 tyres, rear discs, pads, calipers both sides and it's MOT in September 2019 had no advisories.
So, would anyone be possibly interested in a relatively cheap FR?
