Potential Leon 2.0 TSI VZ2 owner

Just introducing myself. I'm looking for a new car and currently settled on a (300ish bhp) Leon estate.
I have test driven a 2022 VZ2, and was very happy with the drive (but there were other things that put me off this particular example).
I joined this group to find out more about variations in spec from year to year and with the different VZ numbers, and to try to research areas to pay particular attention to when looking at second hand ones.

What put you off, as I have that model and love it (once the settings where changed to my liking). The only thing I missed was my CD player but no new cars have that now.

Nothing put me off that model, it was just that I didn't like the particular car's history and condition. Ideally I would like a one owner car in original condition. I expect to keep it for a long time, so want the best starting point I can get (without spending too much). Out of interest, which sort of settings did you have to tweak?

The display of things I like on the screen like Engine, Gear and Oil temps etc. Also adding shortcuts to the bottom of the infotainment screen of stuff I use the most, setting up the individual drive mode to my liking and that sort of thing.

Having seen some of the options, I can understand that.
