Bit of an odd one this, the last day or two I've noticed my power steering feels a bit heavier than it did before, can't figure out why
It's mainly noticeable in the first bit of movement either side with the wheel in the central position i.e. the start of a turn or slight adjustments whilst driving. Initially I thought tyre pressures but checking those all were fine (running the recommended 36psi at front and 33psi rear)
I've tried switching from Normal to Sport and back again (I prefer to use an Individual setting with engine on sport but steering on normal usually) but doesn't make much difference.
My mate who has a Golf said he's noticed something similar with electric power steering and there's some procedure to "reset" it, has anyone experienced this?
It's not enough to warrant going back to SEAT as a defect but subtly different enough to make me wonder what's going on. Car has done ~750 miles so far, Leon SC 1.4 TSI ACT
