Milton keynes!
before you actually wash the car, is there any tips? i'e like foaming? just want to do the best job i can, i always give the car a quick rinse but am restricted as i dont have a hose so am left with 5 watering cans to do the job!
any help apreciated.

Snow Foam is a good pre-wash.

But obviously if you havent got a hose thats going to cause problems!

No chance you can invest in a pressure washer?

I suppose you could put a splash of shampoo in the can fill it up then poor it over the car but other than that you are pretty stumped. You could try a foaming trigger spray with some shampoo solution in a bottle for subborn areas like the bottom of the doors. Without at least a hose you are quite limited.

Get one of the 5lt pressure sprayers, available from garden centres and the like, then mix up a shampoo/water solution or use a dedicated pre wash treatment and spray the whole car, followed by a dwell period (depending on what product is used) and rinse, then onto your normal wash procedure.

I use this method and sprayer all the time and well worth the small time/cost needed. I would guess given that water supply is a prob this would be even better for you.
