Price for injector

My cupra needs an injector for coil pack 3. couple of folk on here reckoned it would be about £35 im getting quoted £88 plus vat Does anyone know where i can get one cheaper thanks lads.

Apparently so, thats the only info he/we have been given. Does seem odd.

swap injectors and see if the misfire transfers... easiest wat.

the mechanic that does all the work on it for me plugged it into the computer and it came back saying it was the injector. to be honest lads car engines isn't my specialised subjects i stick to keeping it in good condition and if something goes wrong i give it to someone that knows about them sorry i cant give you's any more info only problem is if i buy one and thats not the problem im back to square one and down money.

As said, swap the offending injector with another, get it checked again and the computer will direct you to another cylinder number if it is indeed the injector at fault. If you get pointed towards cyl3 again then the injector is not at fault. IIRC the injector is easy to remove.

have a full set of injectors if you need them mate can do them cheap. i put bigger ones in mine

try not to get fuel everywhere.

Yeh, unplug the fuel pump injector and turn the car up to get rid of a bit of pressure, and when you change the injector you will still get fuel spilling out so don't do it with a hot engine or whilst smoking
