i actually got an official verbal warning at work for that "sticker" :(

was pretty down at this stage (as is understandable i guess) and slightly bored of the whole ibiza thing to be honest - so i got some new wheels :)

these pics are just with the tyres that were fitted to the wheels so the fronts are 205/40's and the rears are 215/40 so it didn't sit all that well but i loved the silverness of it all again :)

got some 185/35/17's so played about weith the height a bit

a random snap as i was walkin into asda

this is the only time the car was unbearable to drive, it was on the bumpstops pretty much the whole time ( not that much of a suprise tbh) i raised it off the bumpstops and managed to have it sitting almost exactly the same :)

as always C&C welcome

Looks good mate - was just about to say that must of been undriveable being that low! I loved the black wheels you had (which were then green - cant remember the name!)

thanks chris

i guess i should've named the wheels as i posted them,

the black / green wheels are vw santa monicas (mk4 golf option wheel) 17x7 (can't remember the et but may be about 33 ? )

the wheels above are BBS RW's originally from a polo dune - 17x7.5 et 35 :)

unfortunately due to the new lows and absolute lack of clearance i wasn't able to park the car in the drive like i usually would - and some little scrote decided my roof would look better keyed [:@] bugger

then on the way to louden castle last year a tool in a civic undertook our convoy along the hard shoulder and fired a large stone through the mesh of my front bumper [:@]

double bugger

so that's us up to just over a year ago - getting there :D

thanks for all your comments guys - i'm posting this retrospectively so it's kinda nice to see which stages of the car were best recieved :)

anyway - february 09 and the beeza was due another set of tyres which took me to 3/4 full sets in the year i'd owned it - poor tracking and a serious lack of places able to do it as low as it is mean a set never last very long  luckily i managed to track down another set of wheels with brand new tyres from a mate who sold me them for the same price the tyres cost him :funk:

17" santa monicas powdercoated black (well 2 were - the other two had been rattlecanned fluro green )

the green was a bit far even for me but as i got the wheels so cheap i actually didn't care

apart from some small rubbing on my wings due to the 205/40's it was all good for a few months
Change the name to "project ruined " it was miles nicer and better on the first picture untouched"unchaved"

That's the thing about custom cars, they are Marmite you either love them or hate them.

My fav was the yellow wheels and the Red With Black inserts.

Got me thinking now what I can do to my red wheels.
