Raised bonnet??

in therory it shouldnt but my worry is the bonnet catch as the latch is set a little further back then the fords, i think it might get jammed once shut

cupra_r_ick if you do it while your engines out at least if it jams you can climb inside and undo it manually :) COME ON DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT !!!!! ;)

the kid wants it fixed
new engine came today, i say new, looks worse than ones thats in there currently, hay ho, not my car.
hopefuly a days work, if not a weekend. cordes pulled out on me though the fat salad dodger. got another, less able friend helping though, well see how it goes lol :D
tried starting it today for a laugh, the smoke, its unreal

ive just read that its not good for the engine jacking the bonnet as it can drop engine temps too much, surely that's what your thermostat shud manage ??

if its getting to cold it acts in accordance :shrug:

i hardly believe that having that DISGUSTING spacer thing fitted to your bonnet is going to cause the engine temps to drop that much, and if it does, it means your driving like a ***** and need to be going flat out

did this on my 106 to get some more air in for the ITB's, didnt really like the look of it though.

think it looks even worse on a leon
