Rcd 510 ipod

Can anyone help, I've fitted an rcd510 into my leon, it has the ipod dock under the seat and it doesn't work any help appreciated =D

I don't think it's compatible as the RCD 510 is designed for use with the newer MDI or CUP interface. Certainly haven't seen one working with the old iPod adaptor.

Using an SD card may be the better option here, buy a 16GB and just copy your tunes over and leave inside car

Yeah any of the new generation head units (except the RCD 210)
