The reading / maps lights in the centre above the front driver / passenger seem to be touch sensitive to switch on and off but is there a knack to doing it as mine hardly ever responds and never responds when car is in motion? Not sure if mind are iffy or I'm doing it wrong some how?

Cheers

Mine are also glitchy and definitely don't work for the first 30 odd seconds after turning the car on. After which they work fine and provide the audible bong when touched.

Mine are still iffy, I don't get the bong you mention is that the bong you can set for the touch screen as well or is it seperate? I actually needed the lights this eve and after trying them was forced to pull over and open the frigging door, unless they set to not work when car in motion?

Thanks

The bong is more a Knock Knock Sound as mentioned, I believe this can be turned on and off via the infotainment system.
As for the System startup, yes all apps load and are accessible within 1 minute this is something to do with the software itself that may be intervening with the turn on and off of the lights. Cupra should be working on a fix but i believe that there is another update that can be done at the Dealership takes approx. 4 hrs. mine can be glitchy with the front lights not turning on when you get in the car but sometimes it does its weird but doesn't bother me as mentioned I can turn them on if needed and the back ones come on so you get to see something on a dark night.

My cars going to Cupra tomorrow for another instance of my heating not working 2 weeks ago which has automatically "Fixed" itself, (this was when it was cold and wet) and since we are facing another night of this it may start again otherwise I can only show them some video footage of this nightmare im thinking 2022 Cupra have to hire some decent software engineers to update these things.

So I've just had another try whilst driving and neither the drivers or passenger, including rear, lights turn on. I thought this may be due to the auto lights not being on, but it doesn't change when I manual turned the dipped beam on.

Definitely a glitch somewhere. My car's only 1 month old so won't be due a service for some time. Might discuss with cupra when I call to activate cupra care. Not sure it's an issue that's worth the 50 mile round trip to the nearest dealer to rectify though.
