Good afternoon

I've got all the parts together and made looms for the rear park assist, does anyone know if there is an easy place to tap into the can wires without pulling half the dash to bits or am I over thinking that. If anyone has done this and got advice it would be much appreciated.

Thanks
John

Ok all fitted, all working but I need a programming guru with obd11.

If I have camera turned on the little menu thing comes up on the side but when you press triangle to open it nothing happens.

Next issue if you turn camera off the optical display works fine with tone and lines but you can't adjust the volumes not sure why having the camera activated tops the park assist display.

Any ideas please?

Well I think I've found why camera side isn't working properly, I need to install a high line one that links into the can bus

Ok so nothing to do with the camera, I now have working split display OPS but it has led me on to another project.

I gave ordered a highline camera just for a laugh and something else to do.

Got the OPS working properly by fitting the f&r parking sensor module I had which works like a charm, so guess what............front park assist on its way. In the process of making the loom and sensors ordered.

I call that a win win in my eyes 👍

The highline camera will have bendy lines not like the china one and is connected via can lines

the factory look, quite an easy job. When I've done the fronts will tidy all the wiring up for the full factory finish.
