Rear spoiler

I'm quite keen on getting a rear spoiler for my pre FL mk2 Leon but i'm not all that keen on the BTCC type spoiler.

I like the spoiler that's available for the facelift Leon but these don't fit unfortunately so i'm wondering if anyone knows of any other spoilers that may similair in design that would fit my car?

I've checked out ebay a few times but never really seen anything suitable, most are BTCC style.

I've seen that one before but i'm not sure about it, it looks a bit big from some angles.

How about the Motordrome spoiler? Its more subtle than the BTCC. I feel the same about the BTCC its too chunky for the Leon's lines. Pity the facelift spoiler doesnt fit! If you have them available you could fit an entire bootlid/tailgate from a facelift.

Sorry bud but I do not like that spoiler at all. that piece missing there just looks so unbalanced and out of place.

Google JE design! They have a pretty funky rear spoiler!! DEFFO NOT SUBTLE THO!

Unique tho, i aint seen anyone thats got it in the uk!

The Motordrome spoiler looks not bad but don't understand why there's a bit missing? That puts me off, it makes it look a bit odd. Don't think i'd go to the hassle of changing the tailgate.

The JE Design spoiler is just rediculous and definately not for me.

There seems to be a real shortage of subtle tailgate spoilers for the mk2 Leon.

I've seen that one before when doing a search on ebay but it's not for me, I don't like how it sticks up by the brake light.

Thought about getting a custom one made up? Facelift design but made to fit a pre-facelift.

The only other option I can think of is to get yourself a facelift boot:

Never really thought about a custom one but it sounds expensive?

Again a facelift bootlid and spoiler also sounds expensive by the time you get both painted etc. It would be a nice mod though!

Maybe i'll just have to do without if i can't find a suitable spoiler. No rush anyway

This Motordrome unit is similar in "style" to a Focus ST spoiler with the two "gaps", I like it

Its made by a company in Greece called Motordrome. Its available in UK through Edge Performance for 125pounds. Alas not easy to get hold of down here in South Africa :0

It does look pretty good on the red one but why is the gap only on one side??

I suppose it could be modified so there's a gap on either side or no gaps at all.
