rear stone guard

Noticed yesterday that my drivers rear stone guard is loose. Popped the wheel off and its the top screw thats corroded round it. So its flapping around abit. I secured it with a tie wrap for now.

Anyone changed these before or know how to? How do you remove the rear calliper so I can get the disk off? Can I remove the caliper as a compete unit with the carrier and pads intact?

I found the below saying you can get the disk off past the carrier, but don't know if it will work on the Cupra?

Is it easier just to remove the caliper part and pads, or remove the whole unit complete?

Not one person ever changed the disks or stone guard??
