The wide mouth has been temporarily fixed, will have it done sometime in the future after the stage 2 map.

Hope this helps out someone somewhere down the line.

Looks good mate, massive cooler. Do you know of the where about of any other guides for fitting an intercooler ?? Good to see a few before I fit mine :D

what pipe work and silicone hoses are required from intercooler to throttle body, and where did you buy them

as i need to change mine to get rid of them plastic pancake pipes, also how did you get around the map sensor?

Thats a big intercooler wont
It make it lag abit mate

It seems to be fine so far, boost kicks in about 2.5k and there is little if none once your flying and when its going its going. Logged a few rough temperatures, Ill stick the log up.

Got the same cooler so makes it easy for me to fit now. How easy to make wide mouthed?

Wide mouth was easy tbh, just to an angle grinder to it lol But I did mark out the sections bit by bit with masking tape. And always cut less than I wanter so I never over cut.

I have a look in fourtwofives build thread, his was my rough guide.

Unfortunatly I have a cold side relocation kit so didn't have to worry about that section and as for the map sensor I got the forge 60mm one in 24mm lenght. Around £40 i think.

I literally had to cut the MAP sensor out as I could not be bothered to drop the subframe to remove it.

All my pipes came from siliconehoses.com and also merlin motorsport.

Oh I also forgot to mention I will be covering it up with some mesh as I do not like it how it looks currently. Just need to find a good place to get mesh which will probably be ebay.

Crusing around before I was seeing around 21 degrees and that wasn't before I had taken the car on a run...

Code:
	Group A:	'006
		RPM	Load	Temperature	Lambda
	TIME
Marker	STAMP /min	%	°C	%
	0	2760	20.3	18	0
	0.4	2760	20.3	18	0
	0.8	2760	20.3	18	0
	1.2	2760	20.3	18	0
	1.62	2760	18.8	18	0

Crusing down the motorway before giving it some stick would return around 40 degrees...

Code:
	101.76	2560	138.3	15	0
	102.17	2560	60.2	14	0
	102.65	2520	7.5	12	0
	103.05	2520	5.3	12	0
	103.45	2520	7.5	13	0
	103.97	2480	8.3	14	0
	104.35	2440	9	15	0

This log was after a little motorway cruise while trying to get a video of my 'bucking problem' down to 12 degrees and I think I can get it lower If I gave it a bit more stick.

Going to mock mine up today! Well hopefully, planning to buy a tig welder of my own next year then will re route the pipework and have as few joins as possible :D this thread has inspired me to get my finger out n get mine on!

My aircon is gone, rad is back as far as I could take it and took a fair amount off the bumper.

If you go for the second one I suggested which is only 65mm deep rather than 76mm deep you may be able to sqeeze it in without cutting to much off the bumper but I think aircon has to go.
