Recieved my Aliexpress VCDS, but cant insert the Mini CD!!

finally after almost 6 week i have received my VCDS from Aliexpress, and just checking it now. and discovered that i can't inset the mini CD supplied with it into my Sony Vaio laptop!!
as the laptop cd mechanism isn't tray, but depend on this sucking the CD mechanism if that make sense...

am really confused and disappointed after all this waiting, any solution to this problem

you'll have to use another device with a dvd/cd writer to read the disc and make a copy of it and write it on proper size cd.

or just simply copy the program from your mini disc to a usb key, but again, you'll have to use a friend's PC/laptop. you don't want to buy an external dvd reader just for using this...

yeah will give this a try...
but downloading the VCDS 12.12 from internet wont work, right?!

2 points, make sure you install it in a virtual machine, or other similarly sandboxed environment. the chinese stuff has been reported full of spyware/viruses.

second, if you'ce access to another pc with a trayloading drive, you can just copy the file to a memory stick - no magic.

if you download the incorrect version the cable will be unusable. plus, if you download the original version, it will "fry" the cable as it will detect it's a copy.
