Can anybody recomend me some good parts for my lc. Have been told cobra catback and toyosports intercooler. Does anybody have any better sugestions for a tighter budget?

Ive recently brought a rear silencer with 6x4 tip but it is so loud. Sounds like theres no silencers at all. Been hearing great things from the cobra catback but at £335 its a bit steep for me

Was recently quoted £320 for a custom non resonated cat-back by one of my local exhaust places. May as well save up and get the cobra as they have a decent warrantee and tend to hold their value if you decide to sell in the future.

Alternatively, while you wait - get a centre pipe from the 1.9 tdi and cut out your middle for a bit quicker spool. Costs roughly £10+ clamps and can be done on a driveway with a jack+stands.

Generally people rate the toyosports intercooler but it's apparently a bit of a squeeze in the cupra 180 and requires planning for the pipe work.

You can't go wrong with the SFS overbore turbo intake pipe or one of the ones made by Badger5.

Have a search and see what you like the look of - different people have different tastes and there's no reason to have a "cookie cutter" car. Have fun with your car :)

Cheers for the info danny. Ive recently had some cash spare and was looking towards a cobra catback, 3" decat downpipe, toyosport intercooler and remap but am looking at £1100 for the lot. £335 for the cobra doesnt bother me to much as they have very good ratings but the toyosport is near on £320 and would like it staged 2 remap £349ex vat at revo. Any ratings on building my owncooler from a ebay universal kit?

Check eBay item 200714376954. Wellycooler from toyosports for £78 delivered. Will need a couple of elbows and some alloy joiners but I can't see it totalling £300

Cheers ill have look see. Do ya have any idea what hoses/pipes i would need. I know i need a t peice and sensor tube but dont fancy paying £30 odd for sensor tube
