Remote start

Wondering if it's possible to get a remote start installed to the car but still use a seat flip key.

Planning on getting two flip keys programmed to the car but wonder if I could use the three button type and get someone to install a remote start kit to the car.

Who does these kits?

Any advice would be great.

Cheers

Did that include the remote start kit? Don't want to spend a fortune but it looks like I'll have to to get it professionally fitted or did you fit your kit yourself?

i fitted mine but depends how you feel with wiring, you need a extra box for remote start its on the listing about another 15 i think helps to overwrite the engine immobilizer to allow it to start but still stay locked

Was reading that there. Feel happy enough about wiring and got a few mechanics assure so surely together we will manage it. Sounds like a good kit and easy to use.

I always let the car run for a few minutes before driving then take it easy to allow engine to heat up. My main reason for wanting a romote start kit is because I'm moving house and the car will be parked in the street so don't want to leave it unlocked while it's running.

Car ticking over from cold whilst not driving can cause more damage as the oil doesn't get to flow as much as it would whilst on the move.....

Better driving off warming it....

And in winter get up 5 mins earlier and scrape the windows....don't be lazy lol

ive heard of that before, im in too much of rush in the morning to sit with it running,
but as i said, its handy when popping in to the shop, to let it idle after a nice drive,
