Hey,

Anyone got any advice on removing the rear side panel? Does it just pull off? I had a quick search and couldn't find anything. Reason being I have a creak from the rear panel and was wanting to take it off to have a look.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Cheers

Sorry if my initial post wasn't clear enough.

It's inside the car. Rear passenger side cover, where the rear speaker is housed.

Think you clip off around the seat belt at the top which will then reveal two screws undo them, then its a case op popping the clips out. Can be,quite annoying putting it back together though haha remove the rear seat bottoms as well :)

Hope this helps

Great, thanks for the help and the picture guys! Will have a look at this tomorrow, hopefully get rid of yet another creek! haha!

It's really easy, I did mine when I was fitting my speakers, don't be scared to give it a good yank, it is quite hard.

I agree with what was said above, it's easier to take out. Lining up to pop back in can be tricky!!!

Spawn Again: don't suppose you could rustle up a picture like that showing how the little black triangle on the rear door is supposed to attach/reattach could you?

I tried to pull mine off to wrap it, and it won't go back on!

Hi, I had this problem last year on my SC and after pretty much dismantling the interior and fiddling for about a week I found that it was the door lock. All I did was grease it and it stopped the creaking. I know yours is a five door but it may be a similar problem so apologies if you've already sorted it but I know how much it drove me round the bend.

My door lock is acting really weird. You cannot open it from the inside and you can always open it from the outside even if the car is locked :) (Good thing I live in a good neighborhood), so three doors are locked while the rear right one is always open :). I m pretty much sure is the door lock, so I`ve ordered a new one, I should have it on Tuesday. Hope it fixes my problem.

Yaayy:funk::funk: I managed to change the door lock and everything is perfect again :) Thanks again Spawn for the pictures. They were really helpful.

I need to replace my rear door lock too, if may I ask, did you need to remove the glass and the glass guide? :(
